In an extraordinary night for Čuvar Winery, the Guardians Chardonnay 2021 took home three coveted trophies at the Bayley’s Hawke’s Bay Wine Awards, winning Best Chardonnay, Best Single Vineyard Wine, and the ultimate title, Champion Wine of the Show.
It was a celebration of Hawke’s Bay’s wine community in every sense—a night filled with excitement, laughter, and genuine pride as winemakers, growers, and wine lovers came together to recognise the best of the region.
